Join us in the library on Saturday, 9/27 at 1pm to celebrate the 30th anniversary of bell hooks’ 1995 text, Art on My Mind: Visual Politics. This gathering welcomes poets, artists, readers and lovers of hooks’ writing to reflect on the power of art in our lives. This event is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance. RSVP is required as space is limited. An excerpt from the text will be provided in advance of the event. Link in bio for more details. See you there!
